Public Swimming at Glen Eden

Glen Eden operates public hours during summer only as it is an outdoor pool.  

It is 25m, 5 lane pool heated to approximately 28°C and is 1.0m-1.4m in depth. Parking is available adjacent to the pool. There is also spectator seating available under the shade.
We have a reception / shop available with cold drinks and snacks.

POOL RULES

  • Children under 5 years old must be accompanied in the water and within arms reach of a caregiver over the age of 16 years old.
     
  • Children under 8 years old must be actively supervised by a caregiver 16 years or over. Actively supervised means watching without distraction at all times and being able to provide immediate assistance if required.
  • No alcohol or smoking/vaping is permitted on site.
  • No glass is permitted within the pool area.
     
  • For all other rules please check with the on duty Lifeguard.

Pool Closure Notice

The Glen Eden Intermediate Pool will be closed for Public Swimming in 2026 due to construction work.

We aim to reopen for public swimming in 2027, dates to be confirmed.



Blockhouse Bay School, Green Bay Primary School & Glen Eden Primary are currently running Public Swimming during this time.
