Are you looking for swimming lessons in West Auckland? At Dean Greenwood Swim School Massey we teach skills for life, focusing on building strong and efficient technique in a fun and friendly environment. Our Massey pool is located at Massey High School on Don Buck Rd and is a convenient location for residents of Massey, Henderson, Swanson, Ranui, West Harbour, Hobsonville, Whenuapai, Kumeu, Huapai and surrounding areas.

We provide swimming lessons all year round, in our indoor and heated pool. We have swimming classes for all ages and abilities, from babies and toddlers, through to Preschool, School Age, Squads and Adult lessons. Whether you or your child is a total beginner or an experienced swimmer, we will have the right swimming class for you. Our teachers and coaches are fully trained and experienced, delivering fun and innovative lessons, following our own unique program. The Dean Greenwood Swim School has been providing high-quality swimming lessons for over 20 years, we currently have 4 locations across Central and West Auckland.

We have times that suit your schedule, with no long waitlists. We believe in a flexible approach to swimming lessons. We know how hard it can be to juggle children’s activities, so you are free to change lessons whenever you need. We also offer catch up lessons for missed lessons due to illness. Therefore, you should never miss a lesson, even during the winter months, as when you are feeling better we will arrange another lesson for you, at no extra cost.

All our learn to swim lessons are 30 minutes long, even Babies and Preschool. We believe a 20-minute lesson is too short for children to fully get the most out of their lesson. We are committed to providing an exceptional customer experience, for swimmers and parents.

Classes are available daily:
Weekdays 3:45pm to 6.15pm
Saturdays 9am-1pm
Sundays 9am-1pm

 
  • Classes are scheduled for 30 minutes. 
  • Massey operates a perpetual booking system offering many benefits to you. To read more click the link - Perpetual Booking Info
  • Each pupil also receives a certificate on which they can record their progress.
  • Each pupil's progress is available to view through our customer portal. Children move up a level a soon as they are ready - no need to wait until the end of a term.
  • Private lessons are available on request, subject to availability.

Kaye-109-828 Kaye took over as Manager at our Massey facility in May 2022.

Kaye has an extensive background in the swim school industry with nearly 30 year's experience across instructing, coaching, co-ordinating and managing.

In her spare time Kaye loves to spend time with her family and swim. 

Kaye is passionate about working with people and seeing swimmers progress. Come and say hi next time you are in!
Emma Burrows-152 Emma started her career with DGSS back on 2017 working part-time as a Swim Instructor, before developing into all areas: Reception, Lifeguard and Shift Manager.

Emma took her next step as Western Area Assistant Manager in March 2022 and looks forward to continuing her learning and development with DGSS.

Emma looks forward to helping you have an exceptional experience at our Massey and Kelston sites soon.
