Swim Instructor Training

Our swim instructor training is conducted by Ashleigh our Northern Area Manager who has years of experience teaching herself, and also happens to be a qualified school teacher.

Our training course is accredited by Skills Aktive and all participants receive a nationally recognised qualification. We pride ourselves on providing an extensive ongoing training programme to continually develop and improve our staff, so we provide our clients with the best possible service. When a new teacher joins us we provide a mixture of both theory and practical training, over an intensive 5 day course, at the end of which our instructors have an assessment before being given their own classes. Ongoing, our teachers are quality checked at least twice per year by their on site managers and Ashleigh. On top of all of this we also run 2 workshops per year where all of our teaching staff will get together and cover topics we feel need development.
 

Lifeguard Training

Our lifeguard training is a 3 day course run by our Central Area Manager, Fallyn who has worked in the aquatics industry for over 15years. The course consists of both theory and practical, teaching you how to perform basic rescues and deal with more serious incidents such as spinals. You will also need to complete a 1st Aid Course as part of the Skills Active Qualification.
Ongoing training is then provided at least twice annually through our fun workshops where we bring together all of our staff from across all locations.
