Hi Dean

Ryan and Lance have had about 10-12 lessons at your swim school now, and we wanted to let you know that we couldn’t be more impressed.

The calibre of your instructors is excellent. 

I have noticed in particular the way they have eye contact with the children when they are speaking to them or giving instructions, making sure they have the children’s attention, and the way they will stop a child to correct technique and put a stop to mucking about.

I watched one of the younger female instructors deal with an upset and difficult child this afternoon – she did a great job.

We are rapt with the progress the boys have made!

I have had interaction with staff in the office and the service has been brilliant, very friendly and professional.

Please pass on to all your staff they are doing a really great job!  We really enjoy coming to swimming, it is a pleasure.

Aria's nana has gone for a big O.E, so Aria will take a break for term 2 2012.

We are intending for her to resume in term 3 as you have a great set up and coaches!!!

Holiday Program

Thanks to Te Aorangi for making Water Safety lessons very interesting, to Josie for being very patient with helping my daughter put her mask and snorkel on, and to Emma for her positive way of teaching by frequently using words of encouragment and helpful swimming tips.

Swim School

I felt I needed to write and tell you how great I think the team at the New Windsor pool are.

His first teacher was so reassuring to us, and taught him so much. She gave him the confidence to finally be able to put his head under the water. She was gentle with him and gained his trust through her gentle encouragement

Now he is with another, she is a firm teacher, but really understands how to bring out the best in him. She has established his love of swimming and he always looks forward to going to lessons

I have booked him in again for next term knowing the great care and support he will get.

Your team really show they care for the children that they are teaching.

The manager has always been so accommodating and helpful and I just wanted to express how happy we are as parents for the learning, and the confidence that my child learned from your swim school.

Tri Squad

I have had the chance to be a part of the Dean Greenwood Swim School early morning Tri Squad for many years. It is something I have thoroughly enjoyed.

The Tri Squad enables me to get fit and I have built great friendships along the way. Dean takes time out on a regular basis to help all of us improve our techniques. He also provides a great variety in what we do over the hour to keep the sessions interesting.

The quality of the Kelston pool itself is first rate - the water is clean and the temperature is just right. I work in a sedentary job and my swimming has enabled me to stay healthy, and have great fun along the way.

I would recommend the Dean Greenwood Swim School to those who want to get fit, build friendships and have fun.

School Swimming Lessons

Wesley Primary students took part in swimming lessons run by the Dean Greenwood Swim School. This was the first time for over 6 years that the students had had the opportunity to swim.

We found Dean to be very accommodating in the way the sessions were organized, the tutors were excellent, the time was well managed - as were the students, and the lessons structured to meet the students needs.

I would recommend this swim school, and we are using them again this year
